Day 10 is a strange little detail or I think it is as it can be very versatile. Once again it is quite simple to work with a row of half buttonhole wheels which have been flipped side to side. In the middle a detached chain stitch. Both the buttonhole wheels and the chain stich are worked in DMC pearl 5. straight stitch topped with a seed bead radiate from the detached chain.
The reaction to this series is really shaping up into a bunch of useful resources and eye candy for people. Annie Whitsed of Annies Crazy World has also been posting details of her crazy quilting projects and has posted another small tutorial on making ribbon flowers
Also below I have worked a small sampler from the charted designs that Pam Kellogg of Kitty & Me Designs has been providing.
For anyone just swinging by this series of posts are listed under 100 details in 100 days in this blog.
Over on Flickr it is associated with the Crazyquilting Group and photos are tagged 100detailsin100days

hello!
even though I’m not stitchin’ along, I am enjoying the “100 details in 100 days” project. Since you seem to be a “list kind of person”, I thought I’d bring your attention to Library Thing, a social book list. My list (very short so far!) is at http://www.librarything.com/catalog.php?view=cowgirl53. anyway… thought it might be something you’d be interested in.
