diamond block These work in progress reports do definitely keep me on the straight and narrow. I have two more diamond blocks. Both are of a light tone.

  2. Kerri I start with the largest flowers so I establish the key focal points of the spray. Then work to the smaller flowers to lead the eye along the spray and then tuck greenery in behind them.
    If you really want to learn another option is to take lessons online. I have just finished teaching an online course of silk ribbon embroidery at joggles.com. I usually announce it in my blog when I have classes running or joggles has a newsletter.

  3. I don’t do a lot of ribbon embroidery because sometimes I am unsure how to start it. In the frist picture, with the spray of flowers, what do you stitch first? The outside stitches or the flowers first?
