Stitches:
This seam is embellished was started with three rows of zig-zag chain stitch.
Underneath the row I threaded some pink metallic thread. The final rows are of detached chain stitch worked in the same metallic thread I had used to thread under the first rows of work.
Thread:
A cotton thread I found in a thrift shop.
The pink metallic thread is a metallic yarn called Excel
Placement and Foundation Fabric:
This seam is between piece 2 and piece 3. You will find the diagram in the post I wrote to introduce block 10. In the same article I also talked about the foundation fabrics I used.
