I don’t often write about knitting but this is too cute to let it slip by. I discovered this tiny knitted brooch worked in fine wool on tooth picks which have been sanded smooth. I just had to share.

Too clever, and very funny. I thought I had done everything in knitting – I missed one! I’ll pass it on to a granddaughter.
What a cute idea! that would make a great gift for a knitting friend.

How beautiful but makes my eyes hurt just to see it!
I’m going right into my kitchen to find the toothpicks and am going to make some. I must try this.
