This pattern is made up of straight stitches, back stitch and detached chain stitch

The straight stitches are worked in hand dyed wool, and the green stitches are worked in perle 8

Linda, 27cnt evenweave fabric produced by Zweigart
Size:
The sampler is 15 cm (6 inches) wide and all the sections are stitched together in one long band sampler.
The sampler is currently 44 ft 5 inches or 533 inches (1353.83 centimetres) or 14.8 yards (13.53 metres) long and I have another 12 sections to add. Since I constantly have it to hand picking the latest section up when in the mood it will get longer. I will stop when I get bored with playing with it!
