Section 30 of the For Love of Stitching Band Sampler

Section 30 of my sampler is another change of mood as many of the bands on this piece can be used on crazy quilt seams as an embellishment.

The piece of linen was very long but I did not like to cut it, so I left it as it was.

It is quite colourful and I changed things a little by working a border first. Many of the stitches in the border are canvas stitches and many are worked in wool thread.

There are quite a few beads and even some sequins.

As you can see during that period I had a birthday and our Prime Minister made an apology to the indigenous Australians.

Over the next few weeks, I hope readers will enjoy a closer look at this section of my band sampler.
