For the Love of Stitching Sampler – Band 441

This band of stitching on Section 32 of the For Love of Stitching Band Sampler  is two lines of herringbone that have been tied with detached chain stitches. As well a line of detached chain stitches was worked between the two rows of herringbone. I then laced the detached chain stitches. I then completed the pattern with two lines of gold beads.

Wool, Hand dyed cotton perle #5

26 cnt linen

This section of the sampler was worked during April and May of 2008.


Size:

The For Love of Stitching Band Sampler is 15 cm (6 inches) wide. It consists of different strips of fabric which are are stitched together to form one long strip. It currently measures 24.8 yards or 22.75 metres long and I have more bands to add.
