I have become interested in aspects of creating art travel journals. This is particularly the case since my travels earlier this year. One aspect of art journalling is a desing technique that involves framing small aspects of a scene or image and concentrating on that .
Milliande calls this framing ‘grid’ journalling and has produced a video demonstrating it in her travel journal. It is a simple but very effective technique on its own but particularly interesting when travelling as the experience of travel is often to notice a jumble of little things.
