Detail 643 on the For love of Stitching Band Sampler

Needlework Sampler band 643
I have another detail of my band sampler to share with readers today.

Here is section 48 of my band sampler (Follow the link to read the post about it)

Regular readers will remember that with this section of my sampler  I had patch worked together different foundation fabrics.

Thread, Fabric and Stitches Used:

This is a small experiment with Eastern stitch.  The fabric is blue Aida. I had a scrap of it which I used when I patch worked together the strip. The thread is a hand dyed cotton perle #5.

Date:

This section of the sampler was worked January 2010.

Size:

This area is a section in my  Love of Stitching Band Sampler which is 15 cm (6 inches) wide and currently measures 96 feet 5 inches (2,938.78 centimetres), or  32.138 yards which is 29.3878 meters. It is still growing…and is all hand stitched

    1. Hi Queenie as I wrote the post I thought that would be a good TAST stitch and I wonder what it would like beaded – so yes it will be – look for it in the next few weeks or if I get time on the weekend I will do at least Eastern stitch
