I have another detail on block 72 of the I Dropped the Button Box Crazy Quilt to share with readers today. If you want to see the block click on the thumbnail.
This little detail is a line of chevron stitch worked in rayon thread and I have tucked 3 detached chain stitches into the valley of each V on the line of Chevron stitch. The detached chain stitches are arranged in sets of 3 and have a blue seed bead set at the base. It is a simple and easy seam decoration that does not take too long to work.
