Sharon, I regularly use waste canvas for seam treatments where I want even, precisely spaced stitching. I haven’t the skill to do that free-hand. Waste canvas is a great resource. I love that buttonhole chain stitching and will see if I can do that myself. As always, thanks for the ideas and inspiration.
JoWynn I often eyeball stuff but if I want the spacing to be perfect I use plastic canvas – Thanks for reminding me as I have never done a tutorial on it and I should. I will share it on the blog!
