48 hours to left to buy Sharon B’s stitch files at special price

This is just a quick reminder that there is only 48 hours left to buy Module 5 of Sharon B’s Stitch Worksheets at the special release price of  $5

As of the 24th (Australian Time) these will be priced at their normal price of $10 so spread the word and remind your friends.

To do a quick recap these worksheets are designed by me to build into a hand embroiderer’s resource file. The worksheets are part stitch dictionary, part inspiration, part storage format, part stimulus to explore new stitches, part lesson and part organisation method. I plan on steadily releasing these worksheets and share the stitches and their varieties I have collected over 30 years. Since they are released in modules they do not become too much, for stitchers to work. I aim to keep the series at an affordable price.

Free sample files are available (listed below) that cover the basic stitches.

What is in Module 5?

In Module 5 there are sets of worksheets for 17 stitches. All stitches have step by step instructions and samples

Normally a module would contain between 12-15 stitches but this time around I have a few extra as I felt they were basic stitches.

I felt if readers were using  these worksheets as a course to learn embroidery they needed to be in the “collection”. So for instance I discovered that in order to cover a stitch like Woven cross and Chained Cross I felt I should have covered cross stitch first.

Look upon the extra stitches as a bonus.

In this module there are simple versions of tied herringbone. There is another type of tied herring bone stitch but that involves actual knotting with a second thread but that version will be released in another module. My point being there are more varieties to come with this.

Stitches included in Module 5 are:

  • Algerian
  • Algerian Border
  • Arrow stitch horizontal
  • Arrow stitch vertical
  • Barred Chain
  • Basque Stitch
  • Chained Cross stitch
  • Closed Feather (or Turkaman stitch)
  • Cross stitch
  • Crossed Buttonhole
  • Square eyelet
  • Threaded Arrow stitch version 1
  • Threaded Arrow stitch version 2
  • Tied herringbone (3 simple varieties on one worksheet)
  • Whipped spoke stitch
  • Whipped Wheel
  • Woven Cross stitch

Want to stitch along?

Stitchin fingers has a stitch along group called stitch junkies. The stitch along is a join in as you can, and as life dictates activity with no strict deadlines. There are no strict guidelines or dates to meet in the stitch along. People do not have to work fresh samples as it is OK to incorporate past samples. If you are busy and want to swing in and out of the stitch along as life dictates that is fine. I want to keep it a guilt free activity.

There is a flickr group you can join too also called stitch junkies at flickr

A flickr group for the stitch junkies stitch along

As regular readers would be aware there is a stitch along at Stitchin Fingers that is associated with my stitch file worksheets. I was asked for a flickr group as well so created one. I always enjoyed the TAST flickr groups and I am sure I will enjoy this one too.

Even if you are not stitching along you will spot some interesting uses and varieties of stitches as people share how they are using the worksheets. So check out the Stitch Junkies Flickr group
