Introducing block 40 on the I Dropped the Button Box crazy quilt

I am pleased to announce that I am now about to start documenting block 40 of the I dropped the button box quilt. This block is in Victorian browns which were very popular at the time.

Over the next few weeks I will focus on each seam and embellishment and I hope you will enjoy the process.

What is the story?
