Kathie Baumgardner is organising a tribute to the survivors of hurricane Katrina from cross stitchers. Kathie Baumgardner coordinates S.T.I.T.C.H. (Stitchers, Through Internet, Touch, Care, Heal) and this project is titled Hurricane Katrina Quilt Project. The aim is to create 3 quilts, one for each state affected by Katrina with the intention of donating a quilt to each state for display as they see fit.
