Randy I checked out the article link you provided – yes I have heard of intelligent fibres – I was at a conference a couple of years ago and saw some in action. Its an interesting and exciting area or textiles and technology. The other interesting area is nano technology used in fibre to resist dirt, absorb sweat etc.
Have you ever heard of “intelligent” fibers?
