This seam is embellished with a line of double herringbone stitch further decorated with beads
Thread:
The first row of herringbone is worked in hand dyed rayon ribbon floss and the row of herringbone is worked in Kreinik metallic braid
Placement and Foundation Fabric:
This seam is between piece 6 and piece 2 on the diagram in the introductory article for block 9. In the same article I also talked about the foundation fabrics I used.
Beads:
The row was decorated with seed beads
