CQ Detail 202

Detail:

This seam was first covered with a line of herringbone stitch that was then laced with silk ribbon. I then worked a second row of stitches which is a type of detached chains stitch. The V formation is made by lacing a thread through the tie of detached stitch when this is done twice or three times some people call the variety tulip stitch. I then add some bugel beads

Thread:

Cotton perle and silk ribbon
