This is another of my hand embroidery designs. This motif could be used on a cushion or a tote bag. If you click on the image you will get a larger version which you can right click to copy to the desktop.
This design could be worked in outline stitches such as stem stitch, chain stitch, whipped back stitch or couching which you can find directions for in my stitch dictionary. The pattern could be combined with beads too!

H'mmm . . . a little Art Deco and a little simplified '60's psychedelic . . . I bet this would also look good in reverse-applique!
