Take a Stitch Tuesday 2018 Stitch 41 is fun. Buttonhole wheel cup is raised from the foundation fabric. You start with a buttonhole wheel and work detached buttonhole stitches into the edge, building up rows to form a little cup. It is a heap of fun to do, and easily added to contemporary embroidery pieces or worked as flowers – it works particularly well as the middle of a daffodil. You will find the tutorial for buttonhole wheel cup here. Have fun with it.
Beyond TAST is for those readers who have done TAST before or for people who already know the basic embroidery stitches. Details about the current Beyond TAST challenge is here.
