100 details for 100 days Day 12

The Detail for day 12 comes from the 8 inch crazy quilt block I have just finished.

This seam embellishment consists of an arrangement of straight stitch worked in rayon ribbon and DMC pearl 8 thread. These were then topped with a row of Oyster stitch worked in DMC 8 pearl thread. I then laced the oyster stitches with a fine braid. The braid is taken under the oyster stitch from the right side and crossed at the front. Seed beads and small pearls were added to lift it.
