Today marks the two thirds point in this series of posts of 100 details in 100days. This seam embellishment started off with a line of stem stitch worked in a series of curves. These were worked in thread the same weight as DMC pearl 8.
Hanging from these curves is an Oyster stitch worked in a thread the same weight as DMC pearl 8
Either side of this is a detached chain worked in a rayon thread and a seed bead has been added to the top.
At the base of the line I have added a heart shaped button.
Allison Aller has worked two more seams and is enjoying being back stitching.
Susan of Crazy Quilting for fun has also been stitching and has worked another seam embellishment
Connie of The Scoop, Score and Deal has also interpreted one of the seam embellishments.
