This band which is part of section 30 on the For Love of Stitching band sampler .
The is pattern created by first working buttonhole stitch with the arms at incremental heights to make triangular formations along the line. In the valleys in blue I have added a stem and leaf to enhance a line of small flower beads

The apricot flowers are wool and the buttonhole is worked in a thread which is 50% wool and 50% silk

The For Love of Stitching Band Sampler is 15 cm (6 inches) wide. It consists of different strips of fabric which are are stitched together to form one long strip. It currently measures 24.8 yards or 22.75 metres long and I have more bands to add.
