I am still working on blocks for the the diamond block quilt I am working on. As I have explained before the quilt is inspired – or the shape of the blocks were inspired by a quilt made by Martha Bingley in 1883.
I am gradually embellishing them one by one as part of Sandie’s UFO and WISP challenge.
Once again I have completed another light tone block, from start to finish with both embroidery and beading done.
I thought you might like to see a couple of the details. I find the diamond shape and the fact that I have to be careful to work within a tonal range an interesting challenge.
