Stitches:
This seam is embroidered with a composite stitch. It is made up of a line a line of herringbone stitch, which has been laced and then the seam was further decorated with straight stitch and seed beads.
Thread:
DMC perle thread #5 and the lacing was done with rayon ribbon floss.
Placement and Foundation Fabric:
This seam is between piece 8 and piece 4. You will find the diagram in the article I wrote when I introduced block 6 In the same article I also talked about the foundation fabrics I used.
