If I am to get a wriggle on with this next quilt I had better get back in the habit of pushing a little harder and sharing blocks. I will aim to post a work in progress report weekly. As regular readers know I blogged the making of the blocks and assembly of my last crazy quilt, the Diamond block quilt and the target of at least a block a week really helps push the project along.
This is the latest block in next crazy quilt which I am calling the Lace quilt. I aim to use some special laces on it. I hope you enjoy seeing it. Click on the image to see a larger version.
Where are the other blocks?
You will find all the other blocks in the Lace Quilt category
The lace knit in this block is so terrific and makes me so happy, Sharon… 😉
Thanks Marty – I like that seam too. It was the tatting that started me off
Yummers, Sharon, especially that seam in the upper left corner… can't wait to see more. 🙂
Bette – you ask a tricky question. I was using a sane quilt format, but as I work it I am rethinking it. That said I often ponder the design as I go then go back to my original ideas! Si as I say I am faffing over this but probably will stick to my original plan which is yet to be revealed.
This block is fabulous. I ,for one, look forward to seeing the weekly progress. I am so intrigued by your embellishments-they vary in texture and hang together so well. Are you using a sane quilt format as you in tumbling blocks?
Bette
