Work in Progress Wednesdays seem to arrive very quickly this year! As I have mentioned before this year I am participating in the Crazy Quilt Journal Project 2012 but it seems to keep me running.
Here is my block for May. A quieter Month here as the weather is getting colder. Hopefully the colours hint at a chill developing in the air. I am working to develop another set of stitchers worksheets (module 7) , so some of the stitches on the block are samples that will appear in the eye candy section.
Anyway I hope you enjoy this block. If you click on the image you can see a larger version and if you are in the mood for a little past eye candy all my blocks I have made for the Crazy Quilt Journal Project can be found under that category
I still have a block to complete for last month. It has been started but that is about it. Cross your fingers that I can share a finish with you next week.
Toddles away and thinks to self ….I really should be more regular with Work in Progress reports on Wednesdays as doing them pushes me to get stuff done!
Wonderful work, im jealous
That’s very elegant. Although most lines are straight and there is a geometric feel over the piece the seams are so richly decorated you can see movement. The colours have a hint of frosty autumn, lovely.
So beautiful. W want to start a new block with all of you soon. I absolutely love crazy quilting and discovered your blog and love it.
