needlework sampler detailErr … I am sure lots of readers are going to have a chuckle at this section as I miss spelt JG Ballard’s name! A  bad error which I was always going to unpick, then I decided that it was best to be honest. I think at the time I was so busy thinking about what quote of his to stitch that made the mistake. He is a write I read avidly in my teens and twenties.

The quote by JG Ballard reads:

Science and technology multiply around us. To an increasing extent they dictate the languages in which we speak and think. Either we use those languages or we remain mute.

This area is found on section 41 of The for Love of Stitching Band Sampler.

Size:

The For Love of Stitching Band Sampler is 15 cm (6 inches) wide. It consists of different strips of fabric which are are stitched together to form one long strip. It currently measures 96 feet 5 inches (2,938.78 centimetres), or  32.138 yards which is 29.3878 meters. It is still growing…
