Queenie I just stitched the stitches on top of each other – just kept piling them on. They all went through the fabric – the top yellow ones are single stitches or perhaps I should say units of stitches. The fabric is linen so it allowed for lots of stitching.
Thank you for your prompt reply. Good to know before week 2 of the course I’m doing.
How did you spread the stitches over the surface? Did you stitch a row and then a row in another thread, weaving under and over the first row, then a third in the same way? Or are they all more or less detached Knotted Buttonhole stitches?
E.g. light blue row in the middle, is it one continues line? Are the yellow stitches, detached?
