I have another free hand embroidery design for readers this week. To work a design like this I suggest you use linear stitches such as Stem stitch, Back stitch, and Chain stitch. You can use Satin stitch to fill in the shapes. Patterns such as these are ideal for items such as pincushions, needle cases or needle books, small cushions, small bags or you could use it as a Biscornu pattern. What ever you use it for I hope you enjoy it.
Click on the thumbnail as it will take you to a larger version of the image.
If you need to know how I would transfer this pattern to fabric, I have a tutorial on how to transfer embroidery designs to fabric which will assist you.
These are for non commercial use and I ask you to attribute the work to me, with link back to this blog. You may not republish them online, as that is not in the spirit of sharing. So link to them but please do not re-publish.
