This is the last block in this quilt. I am so looking forward to doing something else once these blocks are done! I am sure everyone feels like this at the end of a large project such as quilt. Anyway here it the block and hopefully next week I will be able share what I have stitched on it. It is the same colour scheme as my last block so should be fun to work.

Coming along slowly at the mo, but slow progress is always better than none at all, no?=)

I had them done last week, and didn’t post for WIP Wednesday.
I’ve pieced 6 half hexagons from all black fabrics – need to embroider those. I WILL finish this project.
It’s always nice to start on the final block for a quilt, it will give you time to play with the new goodies your got!
My sewing machine came home today, so I can finish the last pages for my TAST 2012 fabric book. This week I finished a languishing project:

Sharon, did you dye the rickrack you used in that piece? You can see the start of my project for April at http://princessbubblescreates.blogspot.ca/
Angela The ric rac was a commercial piece I purchased years ago – so I cant say where I got it. I am pretty sure it was from a local chain called Spotlight.
After a couple of weeks away from my routine, I have finally a little progress to show:
