This year I am participating in the Crazy Quilt Journal Project 2012 but fell behind. This is my block for October done! I shared this bare block last week and explained why I chose the colour scheme. As regular readers know I am behind with this challenge but I am catching up!
Also the news is that next year there will be another challenge. Registrations for CQJP 2013 is open. I am not sure if I will do it next year but I am tempted. I will be thinking about it as I play catch up.

Without hesitation I joined the 2013 project. I find it really keeps me working/playing.
So good to see you’re not behind anymore. It’s such a pretty block. I enjoyed looking at all details in the large view.
Here’s my progress for this week:

This week I finished my 7th UFO this year and I got some work done on the 8th UFO, as well as a bit of work on a new stitching project.
Congrats on the UFO finish!
I love the block and as Queenie said you are very quick and also produce beautiful results.

This is really pretty. But not too overloaded. Tasteful. I like it.
Sharon, your block is beautiful! I need to have racing fingers – sometimes mine go so slow that they are close to going in reverse.
I finished block 22 for my champagne quilt.

Marci racing fingers has to do with which gear you are in at the moment I am in overdrive as I know in a few weeks with the holiday season family matters will take over
Oh, you’re so QUICK!
Although you have worked fast, the result has not suffered! It is a charming block with all its flowers.
My humble offering is here:

Queenie it’s just that I had my racing fingers on – normally I am not quick at all!
