My book The Visual Guide to Crazy Quilting Design: Simple Stitches, Stunning Results  shares practical methods about how to design and make a crazy quilt. I teach you how to balance colour, texture and pattern, in order direct the viewers eye around a crazy quilted project. I show you how to build decorative seam treatments in interesting and creative ways using a handful of stitches. My book is profusely illustrated as my aim is to be both practical and inspiring.

  3. Hello Sharon, I’ve been a lurker on your blog for some time. Your inspired and inspiring works have given me an interest in samplers – but as an observer only, their WOW factor is beyond my ability. The photos of antique European samplers at http://www.francetv.fr/culturebox/des-tresors-de-broderie-anciennes-a-la-bibliotheque-forney-136057 reminded me of your Love of Stitching band sampler Especially items 04/05 from 1897 – called ‘Remembrance of my Youth’ . Mmm – wish I could do that!
