The laced running stitches create one of my favorite patterns – first saw it in Shay Pendray’s book, Inventive Needlework, in which she referred to it as Cloud Filling, using metal threads for a goldwork piiece. It is always helpful to see variations and the profound difference made by a change in threads. Your work is lovely.
