I am really chuffed this morning – in fact bouncing around the house with glee as Mary Corbett over on Needle ‘n thread has reviewed my book The Visual Guide to Crazy Quilting Design: Simple Stitches, Stunning Results. I know that sounds a mouthful but Mary has written a detailed review discussing the key sections of the book and what she found useful. Anyone who is thinking about purchasing the book can see the quality of the book, Mary describes the approach I take to the subject and what aspects of crazy quilting it covers.
Anyone who reads Mary Corbett’s book reviews regularly you will know that at the end of each review she lists both pros and cons which is hallmark of her reviews. Both pros and cons are always fair and to the point. Needless to say I was interested to see what she had to say. I nearly fell off my chair when I read:

Ii agree with Mary’s review. I got my copy last month and love it.
It inspired me to join the 2020 challenge and I have completed my 4th block.
I love Mary’s blog, I’ve learned so much from her. She was definitely spot on with her reviews. I pre-ordered the book and love it more than the other Crazy Quilt books I own although they all offer something. I especially love the section on seam treatments, combining different stitches, designs, etc. I have all your acrylic templates and the shipping wasn’t too bad to the US. Thanks for all your instructions, tips and hints.

Congratulations! It is indeed a beautiful informative book. My 4 yr old granddaughter loves it too, she couldn’t keep her nose out of it. So with the help of your book, we are going to make a crazy book full of bling just for her.
