I am gradually getting back onto the swing of stitching. One of my goals this year is to finish what I call my lace quilt. Just to remind folks The blocks in the lace quilt are 7 inch blocks and there are 49 to do so I am slowly working my way through the stack of blocks. At the end of last year this project got set to the back of the line in order to complete Christmas sewing and the CQJP blocks.
So back on track this week my work in progress report proudly boasts that I have started the 28th block. In case your wondering about the frame I have the block on I am still using it and really like it. I wrote a review of the Grip-n-Stitch embroidery frame review here.
Why am I calling it the lace quilt?
I was given a gift of lace “towards my next quilt” from Margaret Roberts a warm generous woman. At the time I wrote about it here. I have since worked out there is enough lace for at least another 2 quilts after this one!
Where are the other blocks?
You will find all the other blocks in the Lace Quilt category

Sorry, but does this work as a link to my bite sized pieces challenge?? The other post doesn’t show my blog as a link or my avatar, very confusing.

It’s great to see a new block from your hand, I like those curved seams.
I wrote about the progress on my quilt here:

Welcome back Sharon!
I’m almost finished with a small quilt, I’ll be giving it away this weekend. Just need to tie and bind. My friend died in 2012, and the quilt is for her husband. The stitching is fairly simple, as I wanted the pictures to be the focus. I added charms about things she liked. There are pictures of the individual blocks after the one of the quilt.
