Wednesday is here again and I have another brief progress report. Another block for my next crazy quilt the Lace quilt, is done.
This block has some great vintage buttons and also has a lovely hankie which I added a few seed beads to. The paisley shape is bordered with Shaped Double threaded back stitch which I cover in in my stitch worksheets.
Where are the other blocks?
You will find all the other blocks in the Lace Quilt category
Thanks so much Sharon, please add me to your waiting lists for crazy quilting and sumptuous surfaces 🙂
Hi Taara I would have emailed you but you did not leave your email addy. The Sumptuous Surfaces Embroidery class and the Crazy Quilting class wont run again until early to mid next year.I am finding in harder and harder to find 6 week blocks of time to run the classes. When they are running I answer everyone questions and respond to all photos put up in the class it means I am online for a couple of hours each day.
Let me know if you want to go on the waiting lists for these classes because I do keep one, and I limit the numbers so that I can pay attention to everyone. People on a waiting list and people on my newsletter get emailed a week before I announce classes on my blog so they get first pick.
Your photography is fabulous, it really shows off your exquisite stitching. Many thanks for sharing so much with us!
Do you have a rough idea when you'll offer the crazing quilting and sumptuous stitches classes again?

You asked if I hand appliqued the curved patches. I can of course do the hand method but all of these blocks were pieced on a machine – curved seams and all.
Beautiful colors! I think this block is my favorite.
Did you hand applique the curved patches?
Oh, this is a lovely block! My favorite so far! But I am such a sucker for lace and have been drooling over all these blocks. Hugs from Utah, Cathy
I do so enjoy seeing your posts – I usually don't comment, but felt the need to today 😉
