Yay! my needle case is done! I never thought I would say Yay – but I have caught the habit from Eve my daughter and it does express the good feeling of reaching a big milestone. (Actually I am saying Yay to just about everything these days and I must stop it) With the needle case cover done it means that all the hand embroidery and embellishments for all the pieces of my sewing caddy is now done. I just have to assemble them.
As usual if you click on the image you will be taken to larger photograph so you have a good a look

Yah! Glad you got yours done. It is lovely. No progress report this week as I have hurt my back. Hopefully I will be stitching again soon.
Sorry to hear that Beth – hope you are well soon
Beautiful needlecase!
Thanks Pamela and everyone for the positive comments
Sharon, this is beautiful. Your attention to detail is superb. I love the little detail within the stitched heart, and your use of colour is inspirational. Certainly deserves a Yay! and can’t wait to see the finished caddy. Claire
Lovely needle case! I agree a Wednesday Yay! is in order here.
I am making progress, here http://crazyvictoriana.blogspot.com/ .
Thanks for the encouragement Sharon.
Congratulations, Sharon! I haven’t even been able to decide on a design for mine! I hope you show us lots of pictures when ou get it assembled. Hugsxxx

I got back to work on the anniversary sampler I am stitching for my husband, which is now three months overdue. http://ow.ly/COgvZ
This week I posted my art bra Treasure Chest. It is being installed in a show tomorrow! http://princessbubblescreates.blogspot.ca/
Congratulations Angela that is a great achievement
Congrats on finishing all parts for your hussif! It sounds so easy if you say you just have to assemble them. For me that’s always the tricky part, there’s always a new project that wants to be started!
Here’s my progress for this week:

Yep assembly is my stalling point too particularly since I have Eve at home at the moment and I go out for coffee instead of pulling out the sewing machine.

Yay! Looking great! I especially like the Laced Chain stitches and how the turquoise lace make me think of peacock tails.
I’ve had a productive week:
