Work in Progress Wednesdays

I am opening up this post for readers who have work in progress to report. Work in Progress Wednesdays (WIP Wednesdays) aims to encourage people to complete languishing projects or WISPs (Works in Slow Progress) or completing UFOs (unfinished objects) or projects made in order to de-stash a bit.

I am afraid that a busy week for me means little to report. I had wanted to assemble my hussif but life is a bit busy as Eve my daughter is home and I have been having to much fun with her.

What have you done this week towards your stitching goals?

Some forward progress on a Di Ford quilt pattern. But decided to take a break on that large project to whip up a mini quilt – only 18 x 22 inches (about 45×55 cm). It is day 3 and I am nowhere near done!!! Persevere…

Isn’t that wonderful, you get to visit with your daughter!
That is the best excuse of all.
I have some embroidery, beading done and a yo yo sewed down, you can see the progress here, .
    Enjoy your day.

Yes I love it when she is home but it really throws out everything else. However for us all family is more important I am sure!

  3. Hi Sharon and Team WIPW!

I’ve made some forward movement over the past fortnight. Here’s the progress I made over four days’ worth of sessions.

Had I worked this well on each of the 14 days since my last posting on this one, I may have completed the bottom right of the chart by now… Somehow I think that the ‘four weeks’ the magazine suggested as the time it would take to stitch this piece was a tad on the optimistic side!!=)

I have been working on my Sampler, while waiting for the next installment of Kathy Shaw’s class.

I made a bit of progress on my Winter/Christmas Wall Quilt and on my cross-stitch. I also managed to finish up a few other items on my (way too) lengthy list of goals.

    Have a wonderful week!

I’m plodding aong with my pincushion though the drizzle stitched sheep is stumping me at the moment and I have unpicked it toomany times to count.

I have just had the inspiration to start a piece close to my heart but never had a way to express it before, the funny thing was it solved itself whilst I was drawing something and my brain was completely ‘in the pencil zone’.
Anyway, a tiny snippet of a start.
