I still don’t have anything to report but I am opening up this post anyway so people who have done better than me can post their progress!
Well… I have been busy having fun as Eve my daughter, who is home until the middle of December and stitching time has been set aside for family time. To be honest I am not stressing to work on projects or assemble my hussif at all. Life is busy and I will get it done when the time is right.
What have you done this week towards your stitching goals?
Leave a comment and let us know. Work in Progress Wednesdays (WIP Wednesdays) aims to encourage people to complete languishing projects or WISPs (Works in Slow Progress) or completing UFOs (unfinished objects) or projects made in order to de-stash a bit.
If you have something you want to share please do! Leave a comment and include the http bit of your web address as then it will become a link that folks can click on to visit your place online and see what you have done.

Yes, sometimes it’s nice just to let things go and come back to them when you feel like it. With me though, that means I’ve nothing to post about most of the time!!!
Anyway, here are my two current WIPs and how far I’ve got on them of late:

Life has been a bit hectic, but there is always a time for a little stitching! http://princessbubblescreates.blogspot.ca/
You are right Sharon, “When the time is right,” those are good words.
I have almost finished my “Prairie” series #3 sewing kit, hussif.
You can see it here, http://crazyvictoriana.blogspot.com/ .
Enjoy your family time!
I do so hope you are enjoying your daughter’s visit! How fun. 🙂
As for WIPW… Slow and steady wins the race? I made a bit more progress. My favorite snowflake so far was created with the beaded fern stitch. Thank you for the inspiration!

This isn’t embroidery, but this week I completed a project I have been wanting to do since we got our table and chairs in 2006: New chair cushions, place mats and napkins. I de-stashed by using all Oriental Fabrics left over from a few quilts, mostly Robert Kaufman Oriental Traditions. I am so happy to have this done!

I patched a new block for my Crazy White quilt:

Sharon-It is great that you are spending so much time with your daughter. We continue to feel your support through WIPW, even on the weeks that you have no stitching to report. Here’s my progress:

Thank you,

The needlebook I posted today is small, but it’s taken years to finish all three pieces – the bag, the scissorcase, and now the needlebook.

Thanks!
Miss the feel of fabric and stitch, so a new piece started here.

Being careless in posting I pasted the wrong link!

Enjoy family time. Stitching should be fun, not a stressful rush.
With the kind support of fellow WIPW participants, plenty of energy and a wide window of stitching time I have made real progress this last week:

Life’s been busy lately but I finally managed to add something to my hussif yesterday.
With a bit or organizing of my days I hope to get much more done.
