It took me some time but I would like to share another completed crazy quilt block for my lace quilt.
If you click on the block you will see a larger version of the photo.
All the lace on it is vintage lace I was given “towards my next quilt” and I wrote about it here.
You will find all the other blocks in this series the Lace Quilt category
I thought I would share a few of the details as I know people like the eye candy.
This vine is made of french knots worked in a stranded cotton floss. The vintage lace trim was covered with beads.
This is buttonholed herringbone and woven detached chain stitches which I was reminded of when I posted them as challenge stitches for TAST. (See the Take a stitch Tuesday challenge does me good too!)
Just a quick reminder – Online classes available
I have two online classes that are currently available.

Hi Sharon,
This is the first time I participate in WIP Wednesday. I decided to start to finish a little bouquet. My progress is here: http://threads-and-patches.blogspot.com/2013/04/wip-wednesday-ribbon-bouquet-part-i.html
Your vines with grapes are gorgeous. I haven’t tried the woven detached chain stitches yet, but I will on my crazy fall quilt.
i like the colour balance in this.
