Introducing Block 72 on the I Dropped the Button Box Quilt

Crazy Quilt Block 72This regularly published series aims to illustrate the hand embroidered seams, embellishments and decorations on my Y2K crazy quilt.

Today I would like to share with readers a pattern for Block 72 which is another of the  bright or as some crazy quilters call it “Jewel Tone”  colour scheme. Click on the image and you will be taken to larger view.

It looks better to the human eye but does not photograph well ass nearly all the fabrics on the block shine or are metallic. Over the next few weeks I will share articles about the embroidery and embellishments in close detail.
