Todays embroidered seam is a simple arrangement of straight stitch. I used DMC pearl 5 thread.
Between the block like shapes I have a small novelty bead. Below these shapes is an arrangement of detached chain stitch and straight stitch topped with a seed bead.
The other embroidered seam you can see in this detail, is a daisy like arrangement of detached chain stitches with a bead stitched in the centre. I used a thread the same weight as DMC pearl 5.
I don’t have a morning round up, as I said yesterday I am away for the weekend at the Kangaroo valley folk festival. This post was pre-written and I will approve any comments that are left when I get back Monday night.
