This detail was started with a row of Herringbone worked in DMC pearl 5. It was then laced with a fine metallic cord like thread.
Silk ribbon rose buds worked in single twisted Chain stitch and are spaced between beads.
It is quite simple but is very effective.

I will be back to the Details very soon. I had to take a few days to finish the Quilts of Valor quilts that have come back to me from the machine quilters.
I tried some tatting the other day (from the Details influence)!
The tumblinng blocks are very slow at the moment as I am working on samples and writing but they will eventually get blogged
