Stitches:
This seam is embellished with a variety based on stepped and threaded running stitch. Instead of running stitch I worked two lines of detached chain stitch then threaded them with a boucle yarn. Then along the edge I used detached chain and straight stitches
Thread:
The foundation row os detached chain stitches are worked in perle thread #8. They are laced with a boucle thread and the pale green thread used in the detached chain and straight stitch is a coton a broder
Placement on block:
This seam runs along the edge of piece 3 on block 16 of the I dropped the button box quilt
