This is some embellished ric-rac. I held it down with zig-zag chain, then added some pistil stitches along the bottom and along the top is a line of flowers made of detached chain stitches, with a seed bead at the center and a straight stitch for the stems.
Thread:
Perle #5 cotton for the zig zag chain, detached chain, and straight stitches. Two strands of cotton floss for the pistil stitch
