Crazy quilt button decoration:
This cluster of vintage buttons on block 38 were collected over the years from thrift shop garments, swaps made with other crazy quilters, garage and swap meet sales and generally been a scavenger.
The rich colours sit well and even the pale green workmans shirt button looks OK in the cluster.
The brown button is for a coat or a jacket and is made of Bakelite
The red button is also an early plastic. probably in its day it was considered a bit cheap and nasty now we love the vintage styling.
The charm was something I picked up along the way.
What is the story?
