Seam decoration on crazy quilt block:
This is part of crazy quilt block 50. This seam decoration is based on herringbone threaded with a fine cord. I then tucked rose buds in the valleys of the herringbone. The buds are twisted chain stitch worked in silk ribbon. Beads secured with a seed bead added the final touch.
