This area is to be found on Section 33 of the For Love of Stitching band sampler.
Stitches Used:
I was experimenting with varieties of cable chain stitch and oyster chain.
Threads:
Knitting yearn with a blended metal thread and wool.
Fabric:
Hand dyed cotton
Date:
This section of the sampler was worked mid to late 2008.
Size:
The For Love of Stitching Band Sampler is 15 cm (6 inches) wide. It consists of different strips of fabric which are are stitched together to form one long strip. It currently measures 24.8 yards or 22.75 metres long and I have more bands to add.

Dont worry about it Marta – actually it made me think about change, growth, creativity etc. i have a pretty thick skin. It is more a question of time and wanting to focus on a few key projects.
Hi Sharon, I did not mean my comment to sound nasty. I was more lamenting the lack of entries of the type that most interested me as I found so many of your links to other sites so exciting. I am very happy with your blog. I truly appreciate the many free and low-cost resources you labor to offer to the public. I know MANY others who feel this way too!!!!! I can't help but feel that you can never please some people, and you shouldn't bother to try. Sorry Marta I have not had time to do the same research and I notice your own blog is work in progress. I figure until someone pays me to blog I can shift my interests if that is where it takes me. Many people say they like the changes and they feel I offer plenty to the online community. I may change in the future but life is busy at the moment.
I used to love your blog. So many links to other art websites and interesting associated paraphernalia. For the last ?6 months or so it has been all CQ detail and work in progress etc. I'm rapidly starting to lose interest. Are you planning to get back to your old style of blogging with links to sumptuous and gorgeous other things on the web?
