Seam decoration on crazy quilt block:
This seam is to be found on crazy quilt block 51 of the I Dropped the Button Box Quilt.
I first covered the seam with some hand dyed commercial gimp braid. I then edged it with a variety of fly stitch worked in hand dyed cotton thread. The stitch is tied with a detached chain instead of a straight stich and I added seed beads to the middle of each detached chain stitch.
