This seam is on block 61 of the I dropped the Button Box Quilt. The lace which was added to the block as it was pieced is further secured with detached chain stitches worked in hand dyed cotton perle #8.
Below is it is a variation of threaded arrow stitch. The ribbon I used to lace it is a knitting yarn.
